2019 Beaver Dam Photos Page
Officers Steve M. and Jack M. work to clear a beaver dam located in and on the Eagle lake spillway October 17, 2019. The spillway boards were also removed for the season at this time for winter lake drawdown. The lake received a 3 inches rainfall 2 days later. Between the boards and the beaver dam the lake was being kept at plus 7 inches much of the late summer and early fall. A paddle through the outflow channel between the boat launch and the spillway dam showed no evidence of beaver activity in this location.
