| 2021 High Water Photos Page As a result of heavy July 2021 rains, totaling approximately 8 inches in a 2 week period; the lake level rose to plus 17 - 19". A normal lake level for this time of year is plus 2 - 4" based on the gauge located on the south west causeway support pier. Beaver activity and their dams at the spillway contributed to the significant rise. Spillway boards were removed and the dams busted out to return the lake to more normal levels.
