Unofficially there are at least six loons on the lake; there was a sighting after the 9:00 am end time, so we did not count this. There was also an unsuccessful nesting near Fox Island. A nest was observed, but it is feared that either high water or human disturbance may have come into play.

Eagle Lake Participation- in the 2022 "Loon Census" as seen on facebook. There were 8 loons on the east side of the lake and none observed on the west end (near the boat launch).
