The elevation of Eagle Lake was determined by NYSDEC on August 8, 2018 to be 944.65. The '0' mark on the guage on the west abutment of the Eagle Lake bridge/box culvert was determined to be 944.80. These elevations are bases on a brass disk benchmark found at the southeast corner of the bridge having an elevation of 950.38 as supplied to NYSDEC by NYSDOT.
